Post-production management software for a fast-changing industry: CETA’s approach
Deadlines are shrinking, budgets are tighter, and clients expect more transparency than ever. For post houses, workflows – and the technology behind them – must keep pace.
At CETA, we’ve always adapted alongside the ebb and flow of the industry. For over 30 years, we’ve built and refined our platform in tandem with the way creative studios actually operate. Every update reflects a simple goal: to take the weight of admin off production teams so that they can focus on creativity and delivery.

Building with our clients
Our approach to development is straightforward: listen closely and then implement quickly.
Insight: The CETA team gathers feedback from incoming and existing clients about what they need from a post-production management platform. At the same time, the leadership team tracks industry shifts and identifies where the platform can adapt.
Development: CETA discusses client ideas in feature meetings, where new implementations are prioritised. The approved features move from tickets for the support team to our developers, who design secure, ISO-standard features built to handle sensitive data and intellectual property.
Release: Once tested, features roll out through our Release Notes and News sections, keeping clients up to date with what’s new and why it matters.
It’s a collaborative loop, designed to incorporate new ideas from clients into the platform as quickly as possible.
Preparing for what’s next
Post-production is in the middle of a technological shift. AI and automation are already influencing how artists, producers, and clients collaborate. Budgets are under pressure, while expectations for visibility and efficiency continue to rise.
CETA is exploring new methods to simplify reporting, enhance transparency, and provide studios with faster access to the insights they need. By examining how emerging technologies can be applied to project management, we’re working to ensure our platform remains not only responsive to current demands but also ready for the next wave of industry change.
Some updates are actioned quickly, and others anticipate where production workflows are headed. By making educated predictions, from workflow automation to advanced reporting, we ensure our platform remains as efficient as possible in the years to come.
For studios navigating tighter schedules, tougher budgets, and higher client expectations, that future-ready approach is what makes the difference.
